Location: Besta Wan Big House, 1814 Marron Road Carlsbad, CA, 92008
Directions: I-5 to 78 East. 1st exit is Jefferson, go south toward swamp. Next light is the confusingly simple intersection of Jefferson, Jefferson, and Marron. Go on none of these; instead, turn left into the parking lot and you'll see Besta Wan on your immediate left

Notes:
The Beaver Moon, according to both The Farmer's Almanac and FarmersOnly.com, is your last chance to trap beaver before they get all frigid. While your hares can't promise that you'll snatch up beaver this evening, you might snare a hare or two, especially if we hang out at BestaWan for a few hours beforehand.
Trail will be somewhere between 2 and 6 miles, and we're going to keep it dog-friendly. Bring a flashlight, because it will be dark out, duh, and you just never know if we go pry off a manhole cover and throw you in a U-Haul.
BestaWan has a very dog-friendly patio, decent pizzas, great burgers, and wide beer selection served in Mason jars. On-ON!
