27th Anniversary Run
Hare(s): Kitty-Kitty and Mr. Roarke
Location: Lake O'Neill, Camp Pendleton
Directions: I-5 north to the Camp Pendleton exit, just past Hiway 76. From the Main Gate, 9.3 miles on Vandergrift Blvd to traffic light at Santa Margarita Road. Turn left,continue 1/4 mile to Lake O'Neill Road, turn right. Run start is at the softball field on the right. BUT, park your car .2 mile further down Lake O'Neill Road at the last covered picnic area (our usual spot). Then walk back to the run start.
To drive on Camp Pendleton you need a driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration. Expect that the sentry will scan your driver's license. Consider car pooling.
