What does the cost of San Diego Red Dress Run Registration cover?

If you sign up for San Diego Red Dress Run, your run fee only cover the cost of the Saturday 2pm Red Dress Run; this includes T-Shirt, original give away, patch, food and more than a few drinks!
All other runs or events you attend during the week will cost some small additional fee.

Is there a Hash Hotel?

There will not be an official Hash Hotel or any special events held at any hotel.
We have found that when we do a block of rooms, people usually end up paying more than if they do an Expedia reservation or other internet search, so we have not blocked rooms.

Do I have to run ?

No, San Diego is a very walkable city. Also our Hares have promised two trails, one for runners and one for walkers.

Can I bring my child ?

No, all attendees must be 21 or older on the day of the event to participate. This is an adult event for adults, your child will not enjoy this event. Please do not leave your child at the run start in the car with the dog, plan ahead and get a baby sitter so you can enjoy the evening with your friends.

Is it ok to disregard traffic signs because I am with a large group?

No, we will be downtown, stay on the sidewalks, obey all traffic signs, stop at crosswalks and look both ways. Follow these simple rules and you will not get a $115.00 jay walking ticket, If you don’t you may get run over by a car and never run again.

Charity

This year we will again be raising funds for the San Diego River Park Foundation. This is an organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the river’s valuable natural, recreational and cultural resources. We believe in supporting this local charity which builds and maintains many of the trails we run on.
