SDH3.com now supports a means by which the Hash Cash of each kennel can track run attendance of their kennel. This capability, when utilized, should result in one seeing the run totals stats within a day of the completion of the run. To view how many runs hashers have completed (and how many runs they have hared), click on the pull down menu above and choose the kennel you are interested in reviewing the stats for. If your kennel is not listed in the pulldown, contact your kennel's Hash Cash person, and the webmaster so the person acting as HashCash can use the KennelRunCounter website, to keep track of who is attending the kennel's runs. A brief discussion of the KennelRunCounter utility is discussed below.
The KennelRunCounting utility is a Python3 script that generates customized javascript code to allow one to collect attendance statistics for a given kennel from a web browser window. The javascript code generated can be run on most every type of browser, and on most types of devices. Furthermore the javascript code generated, is designed to work offline; Once one generates the javascript code they can use the web based program to collect info OFFLINE. Then, when the HashCash returns to a location where internet access is available, the data can be uploaded to SDH3.com.
The javascript code generated supports the following features/capabilities which most people acting as HashCash would want...
If you are interested in trying out the KennelRunCounter code, for use with your kennel, you can try it out by clicking on the link labeled "HashCash RunLogger" found in the right most column of the home page for SDH3.com (just below the "HairRaiser's Entry"). One can perform all the run keeping functions. The only function that one cannot do, is upload data. To upload data, one needs to contact the webmaster to get credentials to put in the Role field when uploading Run data (in addition to one's hashname).
