Awesome Anderson Truck Trail Ride

Location: Alpine, CA
Directions: I-8 east, exit alpine/ Tavern Rd. Turn left, going north across the freeway (Tavern Rd/Victoria Park Rd). Go uphill to Alpine Cemetary. Turn left there (Victoria Rd.) Turn left on Anderson Road, go uphill past the water tower, continue on dirt a mile or so, look for Jesus the Penis at a turn-out, congratulate him on his Resurrection.

Notes:
'One of the gnarliest, longest mountain bike trails in San Diego', but guess what? We can ride right around the Warren Miller 20-foot jumps! Challenging and fun but wider and more do-able than Nobel Canyon. We will start from the top of the Anderson Truck Trail at 9:30, then shuttle your bikes back up to the top after the ride, so you can concentrate on the fun rolling and downhill riding. Eagle option. We will have a picnic on-in back up at the top, it's scenic and sunny and avoids the Easter crowds. No road bikes. Bring water/sports drink on bike. LEAVE HOME AT 8:30 A.M.
