The Worst Trail Ever!

Location: Stonebridge Neighborhood Park, corner of Stonebridge Pkwy and Sycamore Trail Rd in South Poway
Directions: From I-15, go east on Scripps Poway Pkwy for 3 mi, right (south) on Pomerado Rd for 0.9 mi, left on Stonebridge Pkwy and go 2.3mi, then right on Sycamore Trail Rd and immediately left into the park. Note that Google Maps lists Sycamore Trail Rd as Mission Preserve Pl.

Notes:
Having not hared for a few months we've lost our edge. This relatively short trail combines biking, hiking, urban exploration and geocaching. Along the trail you'll encounter wildflowers, owls, vultures, bats, cactus, snakes, bee hives, your old friend poison oak, steep hills (both up and down), barbed wire fences, ruined buildings, bullet holes, unexploded mortar shells, and cold war era junk. Bring a helmet, flashlight, GPS, bike lock and plenty of water & gatorade. Optional extras include technu, snakebite & bee kits, tetanus shots and body armor.
