Location: Mt Woodson Elementary, Corner of Highland Valley and Archie Moore Ln. Ramona
Directions: From SD take the 67 north to Highland Valley, turn Left. From Escondido take either the 78 to Ramona or Highland Valley off of Pomerado in Rancho Bernardo. From the coast take Scripps Poway Pkwy to the 67 and turn left. Proceed to the signal at Highland Valley and turn left Google Highland Valley and Archie Moore, Ramona, CA.

It's all about the trail and I can't resist doing a run through this preserve. Unfortunately it has not been opened to the public. Oh well... what’s a little barbed wire between hashers? No humans sighted on my last 4 excursions here. Got your oak woodlands, scrub hills, creek, ponds, open grasslands, Indian artifacts, and open spaces. Do it or hear about it. No dogs on trail please.
