Directions: From 5 take Carlsbad Village Drive east to Glasgow; right on Glasgow to Edinburg; From 78, south on College; right on Carlsbad Village Drive; left on Glasgow. Park on street.

Not too much of a good thing.
Save the planet types are at work closing the trails in this area. I encountered two ladies with clipboards. In reponse to my query, they advised me that they were taking a census of bugs.
One of these days there could be a fence around the area. The city had been spreading it around that fishing from the lake is not permitted. Per DFG, Not True. DFG did remove and relocate the coyotes from this area at the request of Ocean Hills. Runners and hikers could be next. Imagine truckloads of runners being dropped off in the hinterlands.
So, enjoy this run while you may. Perhaps a massive protest march or run would be appropriate.
If the skies (oops)are clear you will see the snowcaps to the north and the islands to the west. My favorite running trails.
