Eco Shire is a private 35-acre campground with an above ground pool, RVs are allowed (no hookups though), bathrooms, hot water showers (solar and on-demand), pets allowed (if well behaved), small camp store with some extra food available for purchase, a few sleeping hammocks, lighted dance floor. Fires in fire rings only, conditions permitting. Address is 41051 Cactus Valley Rd, Hemet, CA 92544, and it takes about an hour to get there from most of SD if you leave before the Friday afternoon traffic starts. You can come anytime after 12 pm, Checkin, giveaways and alcohol starts at 4:00 pm.

Come on down to Carlsbad to enjoy the beautiful (T.H.)Scenery as you try to snare a truly batshit live hare. The parking will suck and you can't bring your dog, but there will be plenty of beer checks to make up for it.

There is no shade at the park, so cum prepared.

Parking is going to be difficult, so carpooling is encouraged. There is street parking off the 101 and Cannon. There are also businesses located off Avenida Encinas.

Are you ready to put Halloween behind you and embrace the true purpose for which these orange gourds were created? Good. Because it's fucking pumpkin spice season! Come out for a shiggy-filled trail that guarantees crisp fall air and all the pumpkin drinks you can handle. Drink checks will have pumpkin beer, pumpkin spice shots, pumpkin spiked coffee, and Taylor Swift music just in case you didn't feel basic enough. Wear fall colors (orange, red, yellow) to blend in with the changing foliage. Ugg boots and infinity scarves optional. This on-in is a classic San Diego dive bar with a taco shop next door and karaoke late into the night. Trail should be dog-friendly but I need to check with the bar.

It's time for the PreTurkey Pub Crawl, where San Diego Hashers and Harriettes forget their personal and kennel differences and come together in the spirit of... ah, we just show up to get tanked on this odd weeknight holiday.

It's the 17th year! I think. Each year's events erase a little more of our collective memory. I actually have to count every year now! After last year I forgot that I'm over 50, so I've been drinking and sexing like a teenager ever since. Lesson: This Hash will end aging!! Of course, that means that it might kill you, too. Challenge accepted.

Here's how to participate in the PTPC, in case it's your first time, or if you've forgotten.
1. BRING A VIRGIN! The Half-Assed Hash has specialized in deFLOURing virgins since 2005!
2. Show up early. There's nothing wrong with pre-lubing a major pub crawl event. In fact your liver will probably thank you.
3. Go when the hare says go. Or when you want.
4. Follow trail! Or don't. If you want to know where we might go next, ask someone besides the Hare!
5. Stay out of jail. Don't drive, please. Parking sucks, anyway.
