Berserk Trail Runners be there early for a 7 AM departure to the start. Turkey Runners be there for a 8:30 run start.
***Update***
Berserk run start map is now posted if you choose to go directly to the start just off of McCain Valley Rd. Look for flour arrows on arrival at the map terminus. If you leave a car you will need to make your own arrangements getting it after the run.
Weather underground is looking at a high of 105.
Here are safety items to bring:
Hydration System
Salt tabs (I'll have some at start)
Gloves (lots of down climbing on boulders
Heavy duty trail shoes
Sun protection (Hat, lotion, clothing)
Gators
Whatever else you think you will need

The Berserk will be a brutally strenuous trail of approximately 10-12 miles in length, following a sparsely marked pre-laid trail of flour and engineering tape off trail and across desert valleys, mountains and canyons. There will be 2-3 water checks along the trail. Participants need to bring sufficient water and energy drink to survive, in case they get lost or never find a water check. A turkey trail will available for the less intrepid.
