Dogs are okay on trail and at the On-In as long as they are supervised and you do not bring any fucking rawhide treats because we are not too fond of dog fights.
Eagle is about 7.5 miles with 3 beer checks and Turkey is about 5.5 miles with 1 beer check and 1 wine check. Neither is a death march!
