Listen up Hashers b/c I have some fun in store for you. Over the last year or so Snapdragon Stadium has been my go-to for collecting required daily steps. Not perfect but close to home, somewhat isolated and has pull up bars so is mostly a convenient place to burn calories. Definitely not an exciting hash space. But wait.. what if we turned those boring miles into a game of chance, choices and opportunities? What if you gambled on my daily grind and it ends up paying off BIG! Here's how it will go- TURKEYS will follow a 3.58 mile route with 3 Beer & H2o checks. YES beer and water. This is a hash. We run for beer not candy water. Plan accordingly. EAGLES will soar early with a 1.4 mile shiggy, hilly route to get warm and Frye those legs before rolling up on the Turkeys. BONUS card draw for extra effort. Additional mini opportunities to soar throughout the day! As with life the greater the effort the better the results. Send it!
All Hashers will be tasked to collect playing cards on trail and once we're back at Circle the best hand wins! Maybe worst hand and medium hand will win as well? That'll be worked out. Attitude and effort will go a long way. We have a growing table of prizes and rewards. Things you can use while making better choices like SD t-shirts, KT Tape, body glide, BIB holders and much much more. Theme and costume of the day is ordinary muggle. Bust out your Gym clothes and bring half a mind to try. We will blend in, look fun and leave everyone wondering how they can become a part of our next run. *this ain't my first cult people.
